Kundalini is a physical and meditative discipline, using techniques that connect the mind, body, and senses to create a yogic awakening. It focuses on psycho-spiritual growth and the body’s potential for maturation, giving special consideration to the role of the spine and endocrine system. “Kundalini” literally means “that which is coiled” in Sanskrit and is conceptualized as a coiled-up serpent. Specific breathing techniques and postures are used to unleash this “coiled up” energy to bring you a sense of balance and fulfillment in your practice.
