
Shannon has been passionately doing yoga for about seven years, and she believes wholeheartedly in its benefits. She is a certified yoga instructor through Samadhi Yoga Centre with the foundation in both Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga disciplines. And she is continually learning through numerous workshops and many of the wonderful teachers who have inspired her practice. Her earlier training had primarily been through competitive figure skating at the National level and she obtained her gold tests in Ice Dancing from the CFSA (Canadian Figure Skating Association), and the ISU (International Skating Union).
Currently, she loves to share how yoga has helped her build strength, flexibility, mental clarity, and self awareness. She invites students to let go of habitual thinking, to find joy in the moment and hopefully leave their practice with a smile, a lighter heart, and at least a little more relaxed.
